Helping girls discover the fascination of glaciers and gain knowledge in glaciology is the reason I am part of the Inspiring Girls* Expeditions team. During my studies in atmospheric sciences and glaciology at the University of Innsbruck, I developed a passion for learning more about reconstructing climate from ice cores.

I love being in the mountains, and whenever possible, I enjoy hiking to a glacier to see if I can explain to myself the shapes and patterns of the glaciers and their crevasses. When I am not in the mountains, you can usually find me on the football pitch.
