she/her/hers
I am an early-career scientist with a deep passion for coordinating expeditions and sustainability initiatives. I hold a Master of Professional Science degree in Exploration Science from the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School for Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Sciences. My greatest source of motivation comes from collaborating with organizations dedicated to expanding opportunities for BIPOC and underrepresented individuals in science and sustainability, which led me to become an Alaska Fellow for Inspiring Girls* Expeditions Alaska. I thrive in diverse communities and interdisciplinary teams while embracing the challenges of working in extreme environments. I grew up in Baltimore, MD, on the ancestral lands of the Susquehannock and Piscataway peoples. I am an interdisciplinary learner and doer specialized in theater, freediving, conservation, and exploration practices. In my free time, you'll often find me cross-country running, roller skating, dog-sitting, and performing impromptu karaoke sessions (sing-alongs are welcomed).
