I am fascinated by “the laws of nature” and how basic geophysical processes influence the environment and our everyday lives. This fascination has inspired me to become an Environmental Scientist, strongly focusing on all aspects of climate, snow, and ice research. Few other elements in the climate system respond as swiftly to changes as snow and ice, which is both captivating to observe and concerning to witness.
As a Postdoc in a collaborative Norwegian-French-US research project, I understand the importance of trust, collaboration, and networking, as well as the significance of strong mentorship for a project’s success. These are the values I bring to the Inspiring Girls* community.
For me, Girls* on Ice is all about being attentive to your surroundings and understanding the reasons behind what you see—be it the glacier, the weather, or your team members. Girls* on Ice provides us with the opportunity to be curious and observant together in the stunning mountain landscape and learn from each other.
Outside work, I enjoy climbing, hiking or other outdoor activities and a good book and board games inside.
