Pronouns: she/her/hers
I am an ecology MSc student at the University of Calgary, where I look at the mechanisms that allow trees to grow on cliffs. Research allows me to combine a love for problem-solving with my passion for the outdoors. When not in the field or lab, you can find me hiking, rock climbing, or skiing in the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains.
I am excited to be a part of the Inspiring Girls Expedition team because science and wilderness exploration both give me a strong feeling of empowerment that I think every girl should have the chance to experience. I enjoy constantly questioning and exploring the natural world around me and hope to pass this on to another generation of girls. I believe that IGE gives girls a supportive space in which they can curious about the world around them and develop strong confidence in their own unique abilities.
