She/her/hers
Even though I didn't grow up directly in the mountains, I had the opportunity to gain my first mountain experiences in various youth groups. Whether climbing, hiking, or on the glacier, the mountain world is, for me, educational and fascinating every time. That's why I want to encourage other girls and young women to gain their own experiences in the mountains and as a group.
Additionally, it is important to me to raise awareness about the consequential changes in the ice landscape. Currently, I am studying Atmospheric Science in the Bachelor's program at the University of Innsbruck. On the side, I work for the German Alpine Club in the youth course team. In my free time, I lead a youth group at the Austrian Alpine Club, engage in creative activities like painting and upcycling, and, most importantly, enjoy being in the mountains.
Since 2023, I have been a volunteer with Girls on Ice Austria. What makes it special is that Girls on Ice combines science, mountaineering, creativity, and teamwork.
