she/her/hers
I am currently a Natural Resource Specialist, working to conserve marine and anadromous species across the United States. I earned my master's degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in marine biology, focusing on feeding ecology of nearshore fishes relative to melting glaciers in Kachemak Bay, Southcentral Alaska.
I grew up in NY, and spent several years in Washington State working for an expedition company leading kayak tours and powerboat tours before moving to Alaska. My experiences in these places are where I discovered a passion for being outside as well as educating people about our natural environment.
I'm excited to be a part of the Inspiring Girls* Expeditions team because it brings together my main passions of science, education, being outside, embracing diverse perspectives, and empowering our generations of the future.
