Nō Amerika ahau.
Ka rongo ahau i te kupu roto, ka kite ahau i te Erie.
Ka rongo ahau i te kupu awa, ka kite ahau i te Cuyahoga.
Ka rongo ahau i te kupu maunga, ka kite ahau i ngā Sandias.
Ko Charles tōku koro. Ko John rāua ko Bambi ōku mātua.
E noho ana ahau ki Te Whanganui-a-Tara.
E mahi ana ahau ki Te Herenga Waka, ki roto i Te Puna Pātiotio.
Ko kairangahau ahau. Ko kaiako ahau.
Ko Lauren tōku ingoa
For as long as I can remember (and even earlier, including stories from my parents), I've loved being outdoors and exploring the natural world. But I didn't feel like I was good at science, I didn't really care about science, and I didn't know that science could be applied to the Earth and outdoors until I took a Geology class in university. Since then, I've loved learning about and studying the Earth, especially the icy parts. Outside of work, I enjoy biking, swimming, running and walking in the New Zealand outdoors, cooking, stopping by friend's homes unexpectedly to play with their kids and dogs, and visiting family and friends in America.
