In 2021, I drove down from Fairbanks to the Gulkana Glacier as a Gear Fairy. It was cold, physically challenging, and yet, joyous. I was hooked. My biography includes Geography degrees, an on-going adjunct position at UAF, experience as a hydrographer with a few federal agencies, and many geologic art exhibitions. My identity comprises the want to play, experiment and deepen my relationship with the land. The diverse group of girls* on these adventures, encourages each of us to show up as ourselves.
