she/her/hers
Hello! My name is Keeley and I am a guide with Inspiring Girls* Expeditions. I live and work in the Pacific Northwest, leading trips on major volcanoes and in the backcountry. Being an outdoor professional means I get to help people connect with their environment by creating meaningful experiences in remote places. When it comes to moving in the mountains, opportunities are constantly arising to challenge yourself mentally and physically. I love facilitating this kind of growth and cultivating personal connections in the process. As a petite female mountain guide, I know what it feels like to deal with discrimination based on my physique and gender, which is why it is so important to me to create an experience where everyone feels welcome and capable of reaching their full potential in the mountains. We all have different skills and knowledge to share, and we can all learn from one another. Safety is my highest priority when guiding, and I am always open to questions on why we took a certain path or roped up on the glacier. Ask away!
Beyond mountain guiding, I work in marine conservation and teach avalanche rescue courses. I have an affinity for exotic fruits, traveling, and learning cultural tidbits from far-flung places across the globe. When not found romping in the mountains you’ll find me doodling in my journal or playing in the ocean and nerding out about marine megafauna.
