Hi there! I'm an avid explorer of the mountains from scaling peaks in the Rockies to paddling inlets under the shadows of the Coast ranges and everywhere in between. I love spending time in wild places with friends and am a firm believer that time spent outside leads to an inward journey of self growth (plus connecting with friends, getting some sun and laughs in, and the kind of character development that happens fast when the forecasts didn't say anything about that hail storm).

In the summertime, I spend a lot of time viewing the glaciers of the coast mountains from afar while guiding sea kayaking trips on the coast of British Columbia. By winter, I manage a backcountry ski lodge and enjoy the adventures found in the West Kootenays. I love exploring the mountains through most modes of travel! Backcountry skiing, ice climbing, backpacking, rock climbing, trail running, biking, rollerblading (not very well), and mountaineering are some of my favourite ways to get out!

I am so excited to be able to lend my experience with trip planning and logistics to the Illecillewaet Expedition to help get a more diverse community of explorers, scientists, and artists out in the mountains that I feel so lucky to have played and learned in.
