As a recent graduate in Ocean Studies at OSU, my next step is grad school at OSU! I plan to study the intersection of indigenous youth exploring citizen science and the enhancement of native Olympia Oyster populations on the Oregon Coast. When I’m not studying I like getting lost in the backroads and forests of Oregon on bike trips. When I’m at home with my three darling cats I enjoy reading, knitting, and quilting. 

I was excited to find out about IGE after I got to OSU because IGE melds two strong interests of mine: getting people out of doors and into adventures, and encouraging young persons in STEAM fields. That kind of mentorship was essential to my return to college after a very long break, particularly to the sciences.
