Ecologist and Teacher, Adventure of Science program coordinator and instructor Tajikistan

I graduated from the Hudzhand University, Faculty of Biology and Chemistry and currently I am working at the “Centre for glacier research under Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan” as a researcher.

In 2018, I took part at the CICADA project organized summer school on glacier mass balance, where for the first time I was able to research glaciers in the field and to be in the high mountain environment. It really initiated interest in glaciology but also for high mountain environments in me and since then, I took part in other field expeditions and this year I am going to work on three glaciers.

I am planning to further my studies by starting my Master’s degree this year in the field of glaciology and climate change.
