I was raised amidst the boundless steppes of Kazakhstan, the place where sky kisses earth. Continuing great nomadic tradition, I moved all the way to South Korea for my bachelor’s degree. During my studies, I have discovered the beauty of natural processes shaping our planet. Furthermore, I got in touch with remote sensing as a great way to monitor human-driven changes on the global scale. Since 2020, I pursue EAGLE master program in Germany to strengthen methodological background in earth observation. Despite spending great deal of time in front of computers, my interest strongly gravitates towards fieldwork. It is always a fantastic chance to have a closer look on the subject of my research. Even more so, since I have started my new adventure in glaciology.
I am excited to join the program to share together such a unique experience. I see it as the great opportunity to establish a network and unite women within Central Asia and beyond.
