With a Master's degree in Environmental Science, I have been working at the Mountain Research Initiative since 2023, as a scientific project officer. My main role is to coordinate the GEO Mountains project, which aims to increase the discovery and accessibility of data in mountain regions. During my studies, I had the opportunity to do a lot of fieldwork on mountain lakes and also in the Arctic, taking part in the Changing Arctic expedition. I've had a passion for mountains for many years, so combining that with science and understanding the environment that surrounds and fascinates me was a real discovery. This environment has been a source of motivation for sport, which has introduced me to hiking and climbing in particular, but also of inspiration for my artistic practice. If I'm not out and about in the mountains, I'm usually painting in my studio. Joining the Girls on Ice* team is a meaningful experience for me, one that brings together all my passions, and I'm looking forward to sharing my passion with a team of young women!
